George Fischer's plastic rotameters are used for the accurate measurement of liquid or gas flow in industrial piping systems. A wide selection of materials, sizes and scales allow for application in a broad range of media in such industries as chemical/petrochemical, food and beverage processing, pulp and paper, pollution crontrol, power, ultrapure water, semiconductor, and water and waste water treatment.
High impact plastic tubes are durable and virtually shatter-proof. The free floating rotameter design eliminates the inaccuracies associated with common guided designs. Because a straight pipe is not required to develop flow, the flowmeters are ideal in installations where limited space is a problem. Adjustable indicators facilitate easy visual readout, while bright orange-colored floats are clearly visible, even from a distance.
Dual scales eliminate the conversion of flow units; scales are offered in GPM, LPH, Percentage, M3/hr. SCFM 9, NaOH 33%, NaOH 50% and HCI 33%. Optional limit switches for maximum/minimum readout can be easily installed and adjusted using and integral mounting rail.
